Joining
Joining really couldn’t be simpler.
Telephone or call in to the Folland during opening hours and ask for the manager. We’ve a short membership form for you to complete and a nominal membership fee to pay.
Hiring
The large hall and bar and the small bar can be hired. We host events from 1 hour (fitness club) to full scale wedding receptions. It is a good music venue too. Capacity for licensing reasons is 200. Please telephone on 02380 452173 or email via the contact page to arrange a visit or make a booking. You do not need to be a member to book premises.
Outside space can also be hired.
Acivities
In addition to two bars the club has two snooker tables in a dedicated snooker room. Darts and a pool table are in quiet spots in the main bar. Two cribbage teams run too.
The active bowls club which has five teams competing in the local leagues and also welcomes beginners with free coaching.
Folland Sports FC performs well in the several leagues and has an excellent dedicated floodlit ground adjacent to the main Folland Club building.
The general sports fields around the club provide a great space to walk in peace, run, practice putting etc. All the land is dog free.
New ideas for other sports and recreations are being considered as this is being written to maximise the benefit from our outside space so if you have any great ideas please get in touch.

In the past we’ve been asked
Everyone who would like a friendly, covid safe space to socialise or get involved with one of the activities. It’s a great place for families too.
Drinks are inexpensive, a much lower price than you’d expect to pay in local pubs and clubs.
